The holidays were great! It was the ideal time for a "Chemo Break" but now that the New Year is approaching the fight is back on. Jessica's platelets were still low, but her Doctor thought that after a 7 week break it is best to continue with her treatments. The good news is that even with a break, her CEA went down from 9.0 to 7.3 and we are looking forward to continued improvement in 2010. She has a PET Scan scheduled for January 14th so please keep her in your prayers.I wanted to post a meaningful message for the New Year and came across two that I found especially beautiful and I'd like to share them along with our wishes for a HEALTHY, HAPPY and JOYFUL New Year!
