After a bout with strep, a visit from a cherished friend, a 1 on 1 Tong Ren session, an acupuncture treatment, some long heart to hearts, and lots of TLC, Jessica's platelets were up to 82 today! As I write this she is undergoing Round 16. The plan is to do one more round after this one without the Oxaliplatin and then do another PET scan in mid April. If all goes well, the Doctor discussed the possibility of doing radiosurgery on the remaining nodule in the lung. After 10 long months, this is the first time the possibility of surgery was even discussed! So just like "BOPPO" Jess continues to bounce back! Heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your continued prayers and support!!!
Uncle Tony and I have been hoping to hear something about surgery for the remaining nodule, all our prayers and hopes for a good result from the next two chemos and the PET scan in April. Give'em hell BOPPO Love Aunt Renie

ReplyDeleteYou are such a trooper. We are thinking of you! Praying for a good treatment this time around. We are excited about the possibility of surgery on that stuburn nodule. Hopefully by this time next week you will have another lil' cheerleader on your side. We are scheduled for induction on April 1st. :) We love you xoxoxoxoxo
